The City of New Castle & Pyrotecnico Announce Plans To Light Up The Sky On Saturday, July 20
The skies above New Castle are set to ignite with an incredible display of colors as the City of New Castle announces the 2024 New Castle Fireworks Fest, presented by Pyrotecnico. This year’s fest is planned for Saturday, July 20, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. in downtown New Castle.
This year, fireworks will be the true focus as Pyrotecnico has partnered with the City to provide an incredible show right here in the Fireworks Capital of America. Community members will notice a slightly smaller footprint to the fest than in years past as the event will take place on South Mercer and East Washington Streets and will be block party themed, activating streetscapes and parking lots throughout the area.
“We are thrilled to partner with Pyrotecnico to be able to bring this event to downtown New Castle and we are certain this will be another incredible opportunity to showcase our City and area small businesses,” said New Castle City Administrator Chris Frye. “The block party theme is appropriate, and we think the community will be inspired by the energy of the night.”
The space will include live music, food vendors serving up delicious treats, drink selections, and of course an amazing light show. The Fireworks Fest will promise to be a celebration of local businesses with all food and drink vendors coming from area small business owners.
